Meet Malee Yang - Legal Assistant
Malee Yang is a legal assistant with a strong academic foundation in political science and data science from St. Olaf College. Her professional path reflects a deep commitment to service, advocacy, and ensuring individuals feel supported throughout their legal journey.
Over the years, Malee has gained valuable experience across legal assistance, public service, and volunteer roles. She has supported initiatives that improved access to resources, organized community-based events, and worked closely with individuals navigating legal and administrative systems. As a litigation legal assistant, she has helped manage case files from intake through settlement, while maintaining clear and timely communication with clients. In her previous roles in public service, she contributed meaningfully to policy coordination efforts, helped organize events that uplifted local businesses and connected residents to city resources.
In addition to her legal and administrative work, Malee also serves as a Court Appointed Advocate, where she supports the best interests of children in foster care. This role has deepened her ability to listen with empathy, advocate with care, and navigate sensitive situations with discretion and trust.
