Meet Kavya Budhiraja – Law Clerk
Kavya Budhiraja is a law clerk at Garfield Legal, PC, providing essential support to attorneys through legal research, drafting pleadings and correspondence, reviewing and organizing documents, and assisting with case preparation. She ensures accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance with deadlines, contributing to the efficient organization of legal case materials.
She holds two Master's degrees in law and was declared a Gold Medalist in her prior Bachelor of Business Administration–Bachelor of Laws degree, reflecting her academic excellence and dedication to the study of law. In one of her Master's programs, she was recognized as the best female student, and in the other, she achieved the highest grades in her batch across multiple law subjects, demonstrating consistent top performance. Kavya has also authored numerous research papers and articles on complex legal issues relevant to today's world, showcasing her analytical skills.
During her legal studies, she actively participated in various student organizations in her law school and was elected as the President of one, highlighting her leadership and collaborative abilities. Throughout her academic journey, she not only participated in various legal competitions such as moot courts, mock trials, negotiations, and extempore, but also judged moot court competitions during her Master's program.
Kavya has delivered multiple sessions on legal issues to diverse audiences and shared her insights on media and law as a TEDx speaker, demonstrating her ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently.
Known for her methodical approach and strong analytical skills, she helps attorneys at Garfield Legal, PC manage case materials efficiently and maintain high-quality preparation.
Outside of work, Kavya enjoys playing the guitar!
